An Unplanned Labor Day Post: Good Fortune

A friend gave me something quite interesting at church yesterday. First, though, came a long, cockamamie story (always a promising thing). Several years ago he had bought a tape player at a River Oaks Garden Club Pink Elephant Sale, then set it aside and forgot about it. Recently it drew his attention again and he noticed that there was a tape still inside it. He took it out and googled the name on the front, then decided that I should have it. He was right.

I’m pretty certain it’s a lecture by the great Rice philosophy professor Radoslav Tsanoff and it seems to be in excellent shape. I can hardly wait to get it checked out. (The link, by the way, is to a Handbook of Texas Online article that was written by Tsanoff’s longtime colleague Konstantin Kolenda. I think it captures its subject unusually well.)
