   Looks like the joke, “Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country” but the ribbon ran out of ink….the equivalent to the ink cartridge running dry on your laser printer for all of those younger (oops, “age challenged,” readers).

   I typed on several Underwood typewriters like that.
   How many of you have?

   Parenthetically, I believe it was a similar Underwood that proved the downfall of Alger Hiss in his trial.
