Believe it or not, on most days I’m working fairly hard to make these posts interesting to other people. Once in a while, however, I just want to put pictures up because I like them. That’s what I’m doing today. I love these pictures because I love seeing my friends–some now gone, some still here–smiling and gabbing with each other. I wish I could walk right in and ask them all what’s going on.
These seem to have been taken at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Humanities Building, even though they are dated 1999 and I’m pretty sure that took place in 1998. (They came out of the campus photographer’s collection, so, really, who the hell knows.)
Bonus: I thought about running a caption contest for this one but better judgment prevailed.
