I got a lot of emails about yesterday’s bonus picture, taken by John “Grungy” Gladu a couple of years ago from the top of the RMC bell tower:
In one of the mind blowing coincidences I’ve almost come to expect, attached to one of those emails was a photograph taken in the very same place in 1977. And there’s the very same John Gladu on the right, the guy with the cap, glasses and serious fu manchu facial hair:
I recognize a couple other rascals too and the photographer was none other than loyal reader Walter Underwood.
Look closely and you’ll see what I think is the most impressive thing in the photo–that’s a porch swing on the left.
