I was so distracted by the bow I almost missed the goat entirely.
They were in a file called “Students–1940s.” Could be late ’30s, though. It’s kind of hard to tell, isn’t it? What would you go by?
Bonus: New trees going up in the Quad. I can only laugh. Ruefully.
The trees may well be the longest running campus renewal project…
1. The goat looks like a 1940’s goat to me. The goats from the 1930’s wore their hair differently.
2. At least they’re planted the new tree in a more practical position. This way they won’t need the guy wires to keep it upright 🙂
That is all for today.
Definitely NOT the 20’s, as the girls buxomly (? such a word) illustrate.
This needs to be the poster for Sid’s next Oktoberfest party!
The open-toe shoes say 1940’s to me. But early 40’s, not post-war. The hairdo of the girl holding the goat also looks like early 40’s.
I agree that the hairstyle on “Gretel” looks 40’s. She is wearing a really unusual bracelet, with large beads and links.
What period is Hansel’s white blouse? I expect she used one she already had.
Both Hansel and Gretel have a slim bracelet or band on their left wrists. I wonder what that is about?
