    ’84 Ford LTD police car. This was the only year for the mid-size LTD, the next year it moved to a full-size platform, the mainstay of police departments until only very recently. Back in these days, it was rather more relaxed about driving on sidewalks and hardscape. I wonder if this had something to do with either the turning of Willy’s statue or the economic summit. Or just some hot-dog Campo; there were a few of those back then.

    I would guess long before the economic summit, because Fondren still has those silly single-bike racks out front.
