These turned up last week, artifacts from a very brief window of time. They were in a box of materials that had been kept and carefully notated by Frances Brotzen, then co-Master of Brown.
Bonus: The littlest archivist.
It’s my two-year-old granddaughter, helping her mom sort slides up at Creighton. Lots of archivists wear purple tutus these days.
The gentleman in the bottom left corner may be Paul Shinkawa (from Sid Rich and now a lawyer in Austin).
I thought the same thing, almost immediately.
I believe the girl who is squatting immediately behind the bike is Terry Schaffer. To her right is Margaret Mutt McConn’s who face is blocked by a hand. To Terry’s left, I believe is Jenny Morrice Elskes Lukingbeal whose face is also blocked.
Isn’t that Judy Rockel on the far right?
OK. Guilty. It is me. My job was to adjust saddle heights between riders. -Paul Shinkawa
