I wonder if they had hockey pucks or mystery meat that night. I’m sure it was delicious.
Why are so many dressed up, but some aren’t? I don’t actually think these are from the same event given how casually the guys are dressed in the second photo. Bonus: I guess you showed us a few tile. As the Borg says: resistance is few tile.
The first photo might be a college night photo with dates
Could also be a Sunday lunch which was coat and tie at Baker into the early ’70s. The woman in the foreground appears to have on a wedding band, so she probably isn’t a date.
In the first picture, the gentleman next to the woman with the wedding band looks older. Probably the college master and his wife. This is the year after the college system started, or at least the spring of the first year. Looks like an elderly couple and only a couple of other women in the back of the picture, I think the first picture is most likely a Sunday lunch meal, given the coat and ties every where and only a couple of young women among the diners.
The second picture seems to be a meal during the week, given the general lack of coat and tie.

So what have you done with our REAL historian?
Still looked the same in 1964, except the hair was longer.
The guy in the middle of the second picture is very “Hollywood”, with his Brylcreamed hair and pencil thin mustache.
I recognize Bruce Hendrickson ’59 in the top picture, center, with whom I went through the Port Arthur school system, grades K-12, during the ’40s and ’50s.
