Just a few tiny things that recently caught my attention and stuck there until I could figure them out.
First, this:
I know this was bothering you guys too so I went and checked. That lamp post is now gone. I could speculate on its fate but that would be irresponsible of me.
Second, I went over to grounds and asked. This is a desert willow. There are several over there behind Abercrombie and they look to be thriving:
Third, someone somewhere in the comments asked about a wooden sidewalk that connected Main Street to the Administration Building back in the day. I’ve only ever seen one picture of it and here it is:
Bonus: An unusually alert faculty member pointed me to what appears to be an extremely well executed fake. This had to take real effort.
I love these commemorative tree plaques by the way, and if you see me zig-zagging down a campus sidewalk it’s because I’m reading them and remembering my old friends.
Well done, Mr. Stout, if you’re referencing a certain Atlanta group famous for resuscitating the so-called triplet flow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rF-hq_CHNH0
Hypnotic.
When I first saw the title of this blog article, I thought it might be about Night of Decadence costumes.
