I just came across this striking image a couple of days ago. It’s undated but I think that’s  Burt McMurtry, ’56, ’57 at right:

    This is probably before the introduction of the Army Green Uniform in 1957. The Olive Drab that the two Army cadets are wearing could be “worn out” until 1961, but the khaki ties fell out of favor by the mid-50s. I’m having trouble identifying when the solid black Navy uniform was introduced. Mid-50s is my guess.

    I am NOT sure whether that is Burt or NOT.
    That man is in-step, and I do NOT recall that Burton could do that.
    Maybe DeeDee might enlighten me.
