Those flags have to have 48 stars, but you sure can’t tell it from this photo.
I can’t make out a top, sixth row on any of them, even at the largest resolution.
But 5 rows, flush-left was a very long time before Rice existed.
(There was still a 48-star flag affixed to the wall above the band in Autry Court when I started playing for games in the mid/late ’70s.)
The hats look 1940’s-ish, which would be appropriate for a really full old stadium.
Is this a print or a negative? Any brand names or type markings on the edge or the back? Kodak paper was marked with the Kodak name for quite a while.
Blame it on Scotch? Not me. I blame it on midnight. (Shame on the moon.)
That thing with the balloons must be tethered somehow. But I can’t see anything on the photo.
