This image is from a contact sheet so I can’t get it big enough and clear enough to tell what they’re doing.
But you’d have to be blind to miss those pants:

It’s not me. My VW had the sliding door not the barn doors.
The van is ’62 to ’67 (first year of those turn signals vs last year of split windshield).
Aside from the pants, what strikes me is that the inner loop is two-way traffic.
Those appear to be the ChemLec stairs in the background.
They appear to be sitting…
Huh . . . you’re right.
Which pants? I see strips and spots. Both awesome. I was in high school in the early-mid 70’s and it was stripes all the way. Probably closer to late 1960’s.
All the pants! They lift my spirits.
An anonymous source at my house suggested these are architecture students sitting on the curb in front of Anderson Hall. The women are probably from Brown College.
Pretty sure that Bob Ogorzaly is sitting in the VW bus. Pretty sure that Ricky Rundel is the guy on the grass looking away from the VW bus.
Speculate that the second woman from the left may be Leslie Brown, rightmost woman may be Karen Grenn, and the one between them (away from the bus) may be Meda Dubose.
A really far out guess is that the woman at the leftmost may be Cindy Hamill. Just guilt by association.
Can’t see enough detail to hazard any guess about the person directly in front of Ogorzaly. I recall seeing Jackson-Pollock-style pants like those but that’s about it.
