There is only one photograph in the entire 1926-27 volume of the Thresher and almost unbelievably it’s a picture of Mrs. C.F. Arrowood (Flora to her friends):
Recall, please, that in the summer of 1925 she advised Corinne Tsanoff not to bob her hair. There’s no telling, of course, when the picture was taken. And I can’t help but notice that her hair here is not merely bobbed but also marcelled.

Personal note: It’s cool to see a mention of Sydney Lanier Junior High, since I am a class of ’81 alumnus of Lanier (now Bob Lanier Middle School).
