I don’t know who the handsome subject of this photograph is, but the goofball in the back is none other than our friend Bessie Smith. She was really something.

    That looks like a bear paw print to me. Better check it against that black bear on the U of C campus in Boulder.

    It would be helpful if a ruler was placed beside the pawprint. Looks like a raccoon pawprint.

    I’ve never seen a raccoon at the Shepherd School, but it wouldn’t surprise me if there were some around. I’ve seen lots of bunnies, though.
