I don’t know who the handsome subject of this photograph is, but the goofball in the back is none other than our friend Bessie Smith. She was really something.
Bonus: Paw prints near the Shepherd School!
That looks like a bear paw print to me. Better check it against that black bear on the U of C campus in Boulder.
I was afraid it would turn out to be a bear!
It appears they’ve started allowing members of Wiess College to wander around the Shepherd School.
Were the prints first seen on the day after a full moon?
It would be helpful if a ruler was placed beside the pawprint. Looks like a raccoon pawprint.

Assuming that is a magnolia leaf on the right, the leaf is probably about 4 to 5 inches long. So the print is about the same length. I think raccoon is a good guess. Looks like it is the rear (foot). There are good pictures here: http://www.northdakotafurtakers.com/EdManual/racco.htm
I’ve never seen a raccoon at the Shepherd School, but it wouldn’t surprise me if there were some around. I’ve seen lots of bunnies, though.
