This made me laugh.
I was particularly amused that it was in a Lovett College “newspaper” which contained nothing that could reasonably be called news and which also was, hilariously, not dated. The general tenor of this publication was so berserk that it surely must have been produced in the early 1970s.
There were some tenors around the Shepherd School in the early ’80s who could probably be described as berserk.

Apropos of nothing, there was also an incident chronicled in _The Campanile_ and witnessed by one of my friends where a fellow, I believe from Lovett, who had a reputation for being difficult, was actually, literally, tarred and feathered. This was about 1983 or so.
