Vito

I probably shouldn’t have been surprised, but the volume of email generated by last Friday’s post with the scantily clad dancer made me laugh more than once.

As people correctly pointed out, the gentleman in this photo was not the featured attraction. I think he was probably a Rice student on a lark. The star was a fellow called Vito. I went back and looked to see if I could find a picture of Vito that I could post here, but honestly I don’t dare–his “costume,” though generously stuffed with bills of various denominations, doesn’t leave much to the imagination.

Despair not, however. My search turned up something just as fun–a fantastic shot of the audience at this event. Zoom in for a good look at the expressions:

Bonus: The sun finally came out today. I feel like I just got out of jail.

I am NOT ready for Spring:
Spring means mowing grass, poisoning weeds, hurrying to get the trees trimmed, fertilizing, … ad nauseum, exhaustion, arthralgia/myalgia/lumbago. Give me another month of cold weather please.

I can NOT do any of that yet, as we are in the throes of a campaign to Re-elect my daughter, JUDGE DENISE PRATT, to the Harris Co. Dist. 311 Family Law Court.
Denise is being smeared by some nasty, deceitful people, initiated by a Democrat lawyer.

(Judge DENISE PRATT will be on the Republican ticket in the Primary Election on Mar. 4, 2014.)

Not a paid political ad — I have NOT been paid by anyone since retirement — and too often by some before retirement.
    🙁
