Friday Afternoon Follies: Let’s Make it Two

It’s almost my birthday and my colleagues in the Woodson surprised me with my favorite treat—a big bag of puffy Cheetos—and this card:

They know me very well.

I think I’ll celebrate by heading over to the Galleria, where I can enjoy watching people who don’t know how to ice skate try to ice skate. It never gets old.

    OMG – how perfect!

Happy Birthday and Happy Valentine’s Day! (FYI, when I first moved to Houston in the 70’s, I tried to get a job as a skating monitor at said ice rink, but they wouldn’t consider it because I was a girl! Despite the fact I was a former collegiate ice hockey player!)
