I haven’t got the first clue who these guys are or what they’re doing but I can not resist that pipe. It took a couple looks at this surpassingly odd image to notice that there’s a second one.

    I remember Carlo Giannoni teaching class with Suppes in one hand and his pipe in the other.

    G. H. Richter’s cigars during exams were pretty memorable too.
