I’m going to need a couple minutes to collect myself. Be back tomorrow.
Bonus: Downtown Houston from the 18th floor of the Criminal Courts.

I have a similar photo of the Harris County courthouse while on jury duty.
It’s amazing how much downtown has changed since we arrived here 26 years ago.
Agreed!
Please post your photo, Leonard! Let’s compare them!
Compare the view to Houston of 68 years ago. When I got here in 1949 to start at Rice I think the only buildings in your photo that were here would be the courthouse and the Esperson building, whose small dome peeks out near the center of the frame\, above the courthouse dome.
One of my favorite photos of Union Station and downtown from 1938.
